It makes water to mix with foam concentrate at a certain ratio (3% or 6%) to get foam solution. This the simplest proportioner with a main pipe and two branch pipes. One is the water inlet (to the tank) branch pipe and another one is the foam concentrate outlet (from the tank) branch pipe. There is a concentric reducer between the two branch pipes. When pressurized water flows through the main pipe, a small part of water flows into water inlet branch pipe by the obstruct of the concentric reducer. This part of water press bladder in the tank and foam concentrate come out from concentrate outlet branch pipe to mix with another big part of water and form foam solution.
